June 15, 2024 – Transurban Detector Timestamps Issue Resolved

On June 15, 2024 Transurban detector timestamps were corrected to ensure that start timestamps are always before the end timestamps.

June 27, 2024 – Transurban Data Restored

As of June 27, 2024 the real-time Transurban data sets are once again available in the DEP API.

June 25, 2024 – KITS Phase Mapping/Direction Documentation

The DEP API Reference documentation now includes the KITS Phase Mapping/Direction file that supplements DEP API KITS data.

April 30, 2024 – Real-Time NWS Weather Alerts Restored

As of April 30, 2024 the real-time NWS weather alerts are once again available in the DEP API.

April 23, 2024 – Transurban Data Outage [Resolved on 6/27/2024]

Starting on the morning of April 22, 2024, Transurban began experiencing a disruption that is preventing data from reaching the DEP. The current resolution estimate is unknown.

April 1, 2024 – WMATA Real-Time Parking Occupancy Added

On April 1, 2024 the DEP API was updated to include real-time WMATA parking occupancy data.
